Let's face it – pacifiers and pacifier clips get lost. They get spat out, fall out of bags, and get lost in various crevices of your house. If you've invested in some nice personalized pacifiers and you can't find them anywhere, try these usual suspects first.

Behind the Couch

It's hard to reach back there, and it's hard to see. You might find one or more of your beloved Nuk-Nuks hiding back there along with pens, books, junk mail, and other general debris.

In a Chair Fold

If you're used to sitting in your favorite recliner holding your baby, or you have a padded high chair, this is another place where you may find your precious pacifier. When rejected by your little one, it can wedge itself down there, where it's effectively out of sight. Successful recovery just takes a little digging.

Near the Door

Sometimes in the mad shuffle to divest yourself of hats, jackets, shoes, or anything else, your binky may fall somewhere around your welcome mat. Luckily, you can usually see it where it lands – unless it's in the umbrella holder or the magazine rack or under the end table, etc.

In the Bathroom

Many of our bathrooms have been hidden areas around the toilet or waste can or medicine cabinet where it's easy to misplace something small like a neat personalized pacifier – you might also want to check inside the medicine cabinet in case you stowed it there by accident!

In the Dog's Bowl

If you find your pacifier in the dog's bowl or the dog's bed, it's probably your dog who put it there. The question is: can you still use it? Realistically, a good scrub with soap and hot water should do the trick, all of our pacifiers can be sterilized also – but we're not doctors, and this should in no way be construed as medical advice!
